100 voices in 100 minutes: BOOM is coming to the Sudbury Theatre Centre

For two days only you will be able to check out Rick Miller’s BOOM at the Sudbury Theatre Centre. This show has been selling out across the country and features a mind-blowing multimedia tribute to the Baby Boom era. Miller is one of Canada’s best known impressionists and In just 100 minutes, Rick Miller will bring 100 voices of the Baby Boom generation to the stage.

This solo performance travels through 25 turbulent years telling the stories of influential politicians, activists and musicians from 1945 to 1969. Rick Miller combines music, video and stage performance to bring the audience through global events like the Cold War, Trudeaumania, JFK and Vietnam.

“BOOM is more than just a concert, Miller blends music, radio clips, historical images and videos, in a

riveting stage performance that captures just how impactful multimedia performing arts can be,” said

Caleb Marshall, artistic executive director at STC. “It’s a show unlike anything we’ve presented

before, or anything you’ve ever seen.”
