Goddess Gathering: Yoga for Your Yoni – Friday, March 15th – 7:30pm @ Myoga

Yoga for your Yoni will explore taoist and tantric practices to increase sexual health and vibrancy for your whole being. Learn to become a true co-creator in your own life by inspiring more personal vitality and focus.

Teens – HTML & CSS Multipage – Saturday, March 16th – 10am @ Cambrian College

The Teens Learning Code Introduction to HTML & CSS workshop is designed to be a hands-on experience. During the session, you’ll learn basic techniques and concepts that are translatable to other programming languages, the building blocks of how HTML and CSS work together to create richer online experiences, how to create a website with images, video, and a CSS-defined layout and how to create a beautiful multi-page website.

A Voice of Her Own – Saturday, March 16th – 7pm @ Cambrian College

Head to Cambrian College this Saturday for a concert celebrating female composers to mark International Women’s Day. Sudbury’s own Triple Play: Dr. Charlene Biggs – piano, Brenda Arrowsmith – clarinet, and Dr. Charlotte Leonard – trombone, and sopranos Pamela Teed and Susan Urquhart will perform the music of Elizabeth Raum: Bushwakker Six Pack & Flights of Fancy as well as songs from Amy Beach, Madeline Dring & Pauline Viardot.

Sunday afternoon Blues, Rag, Bluegrass and Gospel – Sunday, March 17th – 2:30pm @ The Townehouse Tavern

Sunday Afternoons at the Townehouse Tavern are filled old Blues, Ragtime, Bluegrass, Gospel with a touch of Folk music performed by Richard Mende and Paul Loewenberg. They will have special guests join in on Bass or Fiddle or Dobro or Banjo.

Free Solo Film – Sunday, March 17th – 1:45pm @ Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op

This film follows Alex Honnold as he becomes the first person to ever free solo climb Yosemite’s 3,000 ft high El Capitan wall. With no ropes or safety gear, he completed arguably the greatest feat in rock climbing history.
