It’s Friday! And that means it’s time to make some plans. If you’re like us and wait until the last minute, you may need some help figuring out what you are going to get up to this weekend. Sudbury Poutine Fest 2018
Who doesn’t love poutine? Sudbury Poutine Fest is back and at a bigger and better location – Bell Park! With more than 30 different types of poutine (including vegetarian!), Sudbury Poutine Fest has something for everyone. The fest kicks off Friday at 3pm and runs until Sunday night. Admission is $2 before 8pm and $5 after and there is a great lineup of live music that you can see here. On Sunday they will be serving class caesars for $5 so this seems like the perfect place to cure those Sunday scaries.
Northern Memphis Revival Tour
Sudbury’s Early Harvest Holistic Healing Fair
This free event is taking place at the Holiday Inn this Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. There will be more than 50 unique holistic and wellness vendors and the first 50 attendees one each day will receive a free Wellness Swag Bag. From palm readers to handcrafted items and all natural products, there will be tons of stuff to check out at the fair this weekend.
Beef Stack: Farm-to-Table Harvest Dinner
Natura Catering and Events has partnered with Penokean Hills Farms and Stack Brewing to bring you an authentic farm-to-table dining experience. Their kitchen team will demonstrate three different cooking methods and teach you more about the quality of beef raised in Northern Ontario while you sip on some Stack Brewing beers. Tickets are $67 and include your choice of three beef dishes, sides and complimented with three beer pairings.
Flow into Fall Yoga Festival
This two day yoga festival is a fundraiser for Salina Annibalini’s volunteer mission in Africa. The festival is taking place at the Northern Water Sports Centre this Sunday, August 26th and Monday, August 27th with a variety of classes head throughout both days. Each class will be $10 but you will also have the option to buy a full day pass for $40.
