5 ways to celebrate Halloween in Sudbury this weekend

One of the most exciting days of the year has almost arrived – Halloween is a few days away and Sudbury wants to start the celebration early. Grab your costumes and your friends and check out these five terrifyingly terrific events happing around the city this weekend!

Haunted Walk Tour

Take a guided walking tour through Downtown Sudbury’s spookiest locations and relive their stories! The tour includes the Castonguay murders, stories about the underground tunnels, haunted theatre, unsolved murders, ghost sightings, the last Sudbury hanging and more! The walk was planned in part using excerpts from the book Haunted Sudbury by local author Sarah May. You can join the walk this Friday, October 26th and Saturday, October 27th at 7pm. 

Monster’s Ball 4: A Night at the Haunted Theatre

Sudbury Burlesque is bringing back our favourite Halloween tradition – Monster’s Ball 4: A Night at The Haunted Theatre.  This Halloween costume party and burlesque show will feature drop dead gorgeous ghouls so get ready for a weird, wild, and sexy at the Grand this Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27th. Tickets are limited so check here to see if you aren’t too late!

Terror Train 2018

Another one of our favourite Halloween traditions is the Terror Train at the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre. This is definitely one of the scariest trains we’ve ever been on and we HIGHLY recommend checking it out. You can head there this Friday, Saturday or Sunday between 7pm and 10pm. Tickets are $12.

Farmevil Halloween Bash

Grab your best costume and head over to The Grand and Coyotes Lounge and Nightclub for a clash of the clubs this Saturday, October 27th at 10pm. There cash prizes for best costume and drink specials all night. Cover will be $20.

The Wilson Estate at Rainbow Centre

Sudbury’s newest and most frightening haunted house has taken over the Rainbow Centre and you can check it out this Saturday, October 27th and Sunday, October 28th from 5pm-10pm. We’re told this haunted house will send chills down your spine so make sure to bring someone to hold onto! You can get your tickets here.
