Hard working volunteers give their time and efforts every day to help others, but the women behind Heart of Ruth Mission takes that dedication to a whole new level! Heart of Ruth is a local non-profit organization founded by Rebecca Dallaire and Kristi Haddad, along with their invaluable Board of Directors and supporters are devoted to providing a better life for the children of Rainbow House Children’s Home in Gede, Kenya. Krysta Tunn is one of such Board members who herself has gotten her hands dirty fundraising, travelling across the globe and quite literally BUILDING Rainbow House. As a sponsor of two children herself living at Rainbow House, she has been able to see just how big of an impact the work Heart of Ruth is making! The organization’s next goal is to complete work on a transition home which will give the Rainbow House children a home once they turn 18 so they can complete their schooling. Listen in to hear Krysta’s story about how she got involved with Heart of Ruth and how you can too! Link to the episode here and check out our playlist on Spotify here.
