CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP 6 – JAKE DEETH

CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP 6 - JAKE DEETH

Welcome to another edition of Crater Conversations, a weekly show live on CKLU now on at a brand spanking new time Tuesday’s at 5PM! So, what exactly is the show all about? Join your host Crater co-founder Jess each week as we sit down with a local guest, we’ll talk about their projects, their passions, and the things they love about our little rock town! We’ll be sitting down with performers, entrepreneurs, community leaders – really anyone with a story. Personal anecdotes, first inspirations, childhood follies, who knows where this will take us but we can’t wait to find out!  Can’t catch the show on air? No worries, all our episodes will be posted online afterwards for easy listening. If you’re inclined to tune in live you can dial in to CKLU 96.7 or stream live at https://www.cklu.ca/ 5PM every Tuesday.

I hope you’ve been enjoying getting to know some of our favourite Sudburians as much as I’ve been. This weeks guest is no exception. Jake Deeth is a stage actor now stationed in Toronto for the most part but still a frequent flyer on Porter airlines to come home as often as he can. You likely will know him best as a regular player with YES Theatre and he’s back with the group again this time taking on the role of BEAST in their Orchestra production of Beauty & the Beast in concert. The show is coming up this week December 7th -9th at Glad Tidings, you can get your tickets online right now at www.yestheatre.com – there are only FOUR performances of this show at 7:30pm each night and a matinee performance on the 9th. I’m really excited to see this show and their last concert presentation of Les Mis at Glad Tidings was amazing so I definitely recommend checking it out. In the meantime we’re going hear from Jake Deeth the Beast of the show about the event. Listen in here and check out our Spotify playlist for this episode here.

Additional Tracks:

Lo Fang – Number 88

Jessica Lovelace is a Public Relations and Communications grad, musical theatre enthusiast, lover of live music and part-time unicorn tamer. Some have said that the Big Dripper from Sub City is a regional delicacy and the perfect end to a Sudbury Saturday Night – Jessica is definitely one of those people. No, the hair is not a perm.
