CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP28: MAGIC PELVIS

CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP28: MAGIC PELVIS

Welcome to another edition of Crater Conversations, a weekly show live on CKLU now on at a brand spanking new time Tuesday’s at 5PM! So, what exactly is the show all about? Join your host, Crater co-founder Jess, each week as we sit down with a local guest. We’ll talk about their projects, their passions, and the things they love about our little rock town! We’ll be sitting down with performers, entrepreneurs, community leaders – anyone with a story. Personal anecdotes, first inspirations, childhood follies, who knows where this will take us but we can’t wait to find out! Can’t catch the show on air? No worries, all our episodes will be posted online afterwards for easy listening. If you’re inclined to tune in live turn your radio dial to CKLU 96.7 or stream live at https://www.cklu.ca/ 5PM every Tuesday.

What happens when three Sudbury boys get together in a garage with instruments? Well they usually share some laughs, probably enjoy a brew, and of course crank out some tubular tunes. Marty, JR, and Shane of Magic Pelvis have mastered this art and managed to even knock out a brand new EP Menthols & Red Caps out of it! They’re fresh off their performance at River & Sky festival in July and have big plans for more shows around town in the coming months. In the mean time find out everything you ever wanted to know about the boys of Magic Pelvis from favourite pie fillings, day jobs, to what qualities to look for in a good band member. As an added bonus you’ll get to hear the Pelvis background crew participating in one of Northern Ontario’s most laborious summer rituals – deck building. Listen in to this weeks episode here and check out our playlist on Spotify here.
