CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP29: YES THEATRE SUMMER FESTIVAL

CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP29: YES THEATRE SUMMER FESTIVAL

Welcome to another edition of Crater Conversations, a weekly show live on CKLU now on at a brand spanking new time Tuesday’s at 5PM! So, what exactly is the show all about? Join your host, Crater co-founder Jess, each week as we sit down with a local guest. We’ll talk about their projects, their passions, and the things they love about our little rock town! We’ll be sitting down with performers, entrepreneurs, community leaders – anyone with a story. Personal anecdotes, first inspirations, childhood follies, who knows where this will take us but we can’t wait to find out! Can’t catch the show on air? No worries, all our episodes will be posted online afterwards for easy listening. If you’re inclined to tune in live turn your radio dial to CKLU 96.7 or stream live at https://www.cklu.ca/ 5PM every Tuesday.

Summer is the time to let your inner thespian out to play and take in one of YES Theatre‘s exhilarating shows! This year the troupe have upped the ante presenting their very first Summer Festival with two productions in repertoire at the Ernie Checkeris Theatre! On the roster are Merrily We Roll Along and Violet, both VERY different shows stylistically but held together with the common thread of relationships and self reflection. To tell us more about each of the productions we had YES Theatre cast members Arinea Hermans, Jean-Paul Parker and Alex Panneton join us in the studio for a delightful conversation on friendship, personal growth and some Sudbury trivia! If you’re interested in brushing up on the scores of either show before catching a performance find the full cast recordings here for Violet and Merrily We Roll Along. Listen in to this weeks episode here and check out our Spotify playlist here.
