Dinner and a Show with Martin Kerr

Creating excitement that has rapidly brought him from street busker to festival and stage performer, British-Canadian singer-songwriter, Martin Kerr, will be the next featured artist in The Motley Kitchen’s Dinner & A Show series on Thursday, February 21.
This will be his first Sudbury appearance, following a show presented by Massey Hall at The Burdock in Toronto, the night before. Within the past year, Kerr has sold out two nights at the 1700-seat Winspear Centre in Edmonton, opened for Sarah McLachlan, and watched his album Better than Brand-New reach #2 on the iTunes album chart. His latest release “You’re Amazing” is evidence that “Kerr is an artist who believes that music has the capacity to change hearts and minds. Imbued with a deeply-held social conscience, Kerr wants his audiences to not only be entertained, but to be moved.” (Music Life Magazine).
Sparking comparisons to James Taylor, John Denver, Jason Mraz and Ed Sheeran, Martin’s anthemic modern folk connects with listeners of all ages. With just a guitar and a superb voice, his brilliant storytelling and soaring vocals will captivate any audience.
