Film: Styx – Northern Ontario Premiere

“Styx” depicts the transformation of an affluent European doctor torn from her contented world during a grueling solo sailing trip. When she becomes the only person to come to the aid of a group of refugees shipwrecked on the high seas, she is left slipping impotently from one nightmare to the next.
It was screened in the Panorama section at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival.
