Gillian Schultze: Opening Reception Solo Exhibition

My inaugural solo exhibition encourages the viewer to “Get Off Your Chair!” and explore the wonders of the natural world. I have used fabric, thread, paint and dyes to create brightly coloured depictions of my favourite places in Northern Ontario. Some pieces have also been creatively crafted and reproduced to upholster a variety of chairs that will be featured in the show. The images on the chairs are an invitation to get outside and experience the majesty of Mother Nature. I WILL THANK THE FIRST 50 PEOPLE WHO ATTEND MY OPENING RECEPTION WITH A SMALL HANDMADE GIFT.
