Hand Tied Bridal Bouquet Workshop + Bubbly Brunch

Sip a white rose mimosa and enjoy a raspberry muffin while learning all the elements of wedding floral design so you can master your DIY wedding decor.

Not a bride? No sweat. Join us for some flower fun and brighten up your home for at least a week by placing your lovely bouquet in a vase.

During this very intimate workshop, you’ll create a natural, garden style bridesmaid bouquet and watch as our instructor demonstrates how to turn that into a show-stopping bride’s bouquet. As a bonus, you’ll learn how to make a boutonniere and recieve tips and take home material on how to execute centrepieces and cake flowers.

For this workshop, you’ll craft your bouquet by choosing from a carefully curated selection of beautiful, neutral coloured flowers that are easily accessible year-round. You’ll receive tips for seamlessly incorporating all types of colourful and seasonal flowers, in case this better suits your vision! Plus, our instructor will discuss the best and worst types of flowers to use in bouquets to help you avoid some common floral fails.

Indulge in some bubbly, bond with your besties, and learn everything you need to make your big day perfect!

This is a hands-on course for beginners and flower lovers – no experience necessary and all materials will be supplied.

SKILL LEVEL: All skill levels welcome.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Hand tied bouquets are made by holding the entire arrangement in your hand for a long period of time. This workshop is not recommended for parties with compromised fine-motor skills or conditions that result in hand and arm pain, such as carpel tunnel or tendonitis.

AGE RANGE: Recommended for ages 13 and up.

FOOD & DRINK: Complimentary beverage (mimosa, spiked lemonade, or hot drink) and dessert pastry will be provided.

FLOWER MATERIALS: All tools and flower materials needed for this workshop will be provided. Flower clippers and knives will remain property of Guilty Pleasures Bakeshop and must be returned at the end of the workshop.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferrable to another person if you are unable to attend.
