Experimental: the word that comes to mind when one’s ears meet Dark Areas of Description, the latest album from singer/songwriter Jackson Reed. A native of Northern Ontario, Reed has undertaken many creative ventures and this album, his second as a solo act, is the most recent.

Mike Mikus (Montreal)

The self-titled debut album by Mike Mikus is the first of many anticipated solo releases to come from the 20-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter. After members of Mikus’ main project The Pixo Control parted ways, Mike made the challenging decision to go solo in an effort to force himself into a zone of creativity that he could call his own.
