July Hike Club

Every 1st Saturday of the month, we invite the whole RRA family to get together for a hike exploring our beautiful nature trails!We are especially pleased to be able to invite you to join us on a hike in lovely Capreol for July’s monthly hike club.

Partly in celebration of the new Transit routes soon to come out (August 2019), and partly because we are excited about Sudbury’s recent hard work in promoting active transportation, we decided we’d love to take the city Transit out to our hike this month! We will take the regular Transit bus out to Capreol. The bus leaves downtown at 9 a.m. The scenic ride takes a little less than 45 mintues, and because none of us will have to watch the road, we can chat and visit on our way. We’ll then hike around the town’s trails (yes, there are more than one!), and hopefully have a bit of time to see some of the other attractions in the town before we hop back on the bus to return to downtown at 12:30.

NOTE: Because this is a regular transit route (not a charter bus) make sure you leave yourself enough time to arrive at the downtown bus terminal 5 or so minutes before 9 am. Bus fares are $3.40 for adult, and $2.50 for Seniors (65 and up).
