Growing up in both Botswana and Canada, she listened to a mix of South African pop hits, classic R&B, old-time country and Traditional Motown; genre styles that are present and evident in her music. She blends her profound vocals with heartfelt lyrics, painting stories that delve into her multidimensional identities. Infused with energy, Sunstrum’s performances are intimate, authentic, and create a long-lasting soulful connection to her audience.
