Casual listeners as well as ardent music fans enjoy Duncan Cameron’s skillful performance of rock and country hits as well as his selections of traditional Celtic songs and fiddle tunes. Traditional Irish, English and French-Canadian groups have contributed much of Duncan’s repertoire, but classical, country, and funk have also added to his unique approach. These influences as well as his impressive array of instruments are sometimes combined and infused within a song. His use of a looper and other technology to enhance his sound makes his solo shows unexpectedly rich in timbre and range.
