Reel Paddling Film Festival
May 11, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We know summer seems so far away but we’re here to help you get excited about getting out on the water. The Northern Water Sports Centre (NWSC) and Ramakko’s Source for Adventure is bringing the Reel Paddling Film Festival 2017 World Tour to Sudbury! Join us at Sudbury Secondary School on May 11 beginning at 6PM.
With an evening geared to paddlers and all around outdoor enthusiasts, audiences can expect a fun, social and entertaining event inspired by compelling films.
The Reel Paddling Film Festival (RPFF) is an international adventure film tour presenting the world’s best paddling films of the year – whitewater, sea kayaking, canoeing, SUP, action and lifestyle – in more than 120 cities and towns across Canada, United States and around the world.
With 20 inspiring paddling films shortlisted for the World Tour, including the ten festival category winners, audiences will see northern river canoe expeditions, grueling kayak fishing battles, hairy whitewater action, sea kayakers exploring remote coastlines, international river travel films, motivating environmental documentaries, and hilarious short films capturing the lighter side of paddling life.
