Call to Artists: Outdoor Mural Opportunity
The NATT Safety Services Outdoor Mural Opportunity is open to exterior urban mural artists or teams who reside in Northern Ontario. The artwork imagery will represent the mining, construction and safety rescue services that NATT Safety Services provides, and will be created to represent the large mining culture in Sudbury. The expectation is that imagery will be inspired by the mining culture of Sudbury, confined spaces rescue and will be created by community artists in the Northern Ontario area. branch2018 is a dance-based intensive designed for pre-professional, emerging and professional dancers, choreographers and teachers in Northern Ontario, open to movers and performing artists of ALL varieties from EVERYWHERE! The intensive aims to provide physical training and an alternative learning experience for participants. Through its' collaborative faculty, branch explores dance through a range of classes, workshops, and creative processes. Community Conversation: Artistic Practice Host by Branch Collective At Sudbury Theatre Centre Cabaret Space Thursday, July 19th 2018 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm ! FREE ! Community conversation is an open public discussion taking place in a FREE space to talk about topics surrounding personal artistic practice. The conversation will start with questions asking: How does each person create and sustain their artistic practice? What are you looking for in your creative practice? What are barriers and successes you have experienced? What do you feel you NEED to fuel your practice? This conversation is OPEN, meaning that it can drift and change to address whatever is on your mind when you think of creating, making, shaping and designing.
