Wild at Heart – summer day camp (ages 6-12)
Register your child: http://wahrefugecentre.org/camp Spots are limited, so be sure to register early! As Wild at Heart continues to expand our education outreach programming, we are looking to offer free day camps to the community. From August 13-15th, we will be hosting day camps for students ages 6-12, focusing on environmental issues like wildlife-human conflict, and pollinators and native plants, as well as a field trip to Walden Animal Hospital to learn about their partnership with Wild at Heart. By removing the cost of admission for these camps, all children will have the opportunity to attend. Children will learn first-hand about local environmental issues, and how they can make a positive difference in their community. This will also raise awareness about Wild at Heart, and let people know where they can bring an injured, orphaned, or sick wild animal. Thank you to the Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury, and to everyone who voted, for funding this project.
