We're hosting another Yoga & Wine event - October Edition! Our last was our best one yet! So we thought we'd have another one! RBC Presents: Girls Take Nashville an Eventful Times Event
The Sudbury Canadian Cancer Society, along with Eventful Times and RBC, present Girls Take....Nashville! Celebrating the food, fashion and fun of Nashville, Tennessee. Proceeds to fund research and treatment of women's cancers. Event will feature Live Entertainment, Southern Style Food, a Silent Auction, DJ Dance, Prizes and More! House of David Reggae Band – Tosh Tribute
Friday, October 12th - House of David Gang Reggae Band - Peter Tosh Tribute - $10.00 at the door - 10pm Come on out and get your Reggae on! $10 Peter Tosh was the musical partner of Bob Marley for the early years of their lives... together they create the blueprint of Reggae music for the next 40 years. Bob was the Mysticism of Rasta and reggae, but Peter Tosh was the Soul and Energy. Throughout their career, House of David Gang has been known for their uplifting roots rock reggae sound, which pays homage to the classic 70's & 80's Jamaican sound mixed with a modern rootsy Canadian feel. The band takes its name from The House of David, an afterhours spot on Queen Street West in Toronto that was a Rasta hotspot for reasoning, dancing and reggae music from the late 80s until the mid 90s.
