Downtown Noon-hour Walks (Friday)
Take a break... come for a lunchtime walk to boost your productivity or simply break up the day! The routes for this walk will vary week-to-week. Albert and Orest will alternate as walk leaders, with Paul Haynes stepping in from time-to-time as well. Speed & terrain: moderate (be prepared to walk partly on sidewalks, partly on trails) Distance: roughly 2.5-3km (flexible) Approx duration: 45min Meeting location: For the duration of the construction at Tom Davies Courtyard, please meet at the entrance at the corner of Paris and Larch Make sure to dress appropriately, in layers & to wear good walking boots. Hiking poles welcome.

Music and Motorcycles – CD Release Party
Kae Shelby Roberts is excited to be going back to her home town of Sudbury to release her solo album, Music and Motorcycles. Kae will be performing live, the music from her CD with the band, The Colorado Experiment. Come on out and enjoy great food and great music at La Fromagerie. Doors open at 6:30, meet the Artist at 7:30, and music begins at 8:30pm. CP Holiday Train with Terri Clark, Kelly Prescott & Sierra Noble
The Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train will soon set out once again to entertain hundreds of thousands of people, celebrating 20 years of collecting food and raising funds for food banks across North America. The CP Holiday Train program launched in 1999 and has since raised more than C$14.5 million and gathered 4.3 million pounds of food for communities along CP's routes in Canada and the United States. Every pound and dollar raised at each stop stays with the local food bank to help feed those in need in that community.
