When online sales ends- you can still get tickets by paying cash at the venue at the box office- 30 minutes before screenings. Single tickets are $10. 5-paks are $40. Sudbury Downtown Indie Cinema Co-op is delighted to announce our 2nd edition of Junction North International Documentary Film Festival, Thursday February 28 to Sunday March 3, in Sudbury's downtown. This is possible due to the support of Government Partner: Ontario Arts Council, Major Presenting Partners: Autumnwood, Downtown Sudbury, as well as our Major Media Sponsors: The Sudbury Star, & CBC Radio. Junction North brings 30+ screenings over 4 days to Northern Ontario of the year's outstanding stories from Toronto’s Hot Docs International Film Festival, TIFF, and Sundance, plus a variety of local stories, an industry forum for Northern Ontario emerging doc filmmakers, and screenings geared to high school students. Sally Brown joins Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, and Snoopy in this charming revue of vignettes and songs. Two new songs, “Beethoven Day” and “My New Philosophy,” have been added to the twelve numbers from the original version, which include “My Blanket and Me,” “The Baseball Game,” “Little Known Facts,” “Suppertime,” and “Happiness.”

On March 2nd, 2019, we will be hosting our 6th Annual Polar Plunge at the Ramsey Lake Boat Launch! Who’s ready to get Freezin for a Reason?! The funds raised from the Polar Plunge go towards Special Olympics Ontario, who provides those with intellectual disabilities in the community and across Ontario the opportunity to participate in sport and recreational activities. This year is a very special year for Special Olympics Ontario – it’s celebrating its 50th anniversary! Since 2014, the Polar Plunge in Sudbury has raised in excess of $115,750! Last year we raised $25,000…Our goal this year is to raise $30,000. Chief Pedersen will be taking the plunge again this year, and he challenges all Sudburians to do the same!
