Chakra Teachings for Life Balance
Balance your Chakras - Balance your LIfe! Join Charmaine and Debra for a 1.5 days of discovering, learning, sharing, and hands-on experiencing (oh and eating too) the 7 Major Energy Centres - our Chakras and their functions and connection to the well-being of our emotional, physical, mental and spiritual bodies. Downtown Rotary Blues for Food
This year marks the 29th Annual Downtown Rotary Blues for Food, in support of the Sudbury Food Bank. The Outdoor Blues festival takes place on Durham Street.(between Elgin and Larch Streets) Live music, Festival foods, Merchandise vendors, Children's Activities, Refreshment tent and much more! Admission is a Non-perishable food item or cash donations to The Sudbury Food Bank. Learn more about the process of putting this book together from her mother Pina Cotesta and editor Laura Stradiotto. Books will be available for sale. Proceeds of sales go to support paediatric cancer care in Northern Ontario.

Eye Level of Sudbury will be hosting a lemonade stand to raise funds for NEO Kids at the local hospital. This is our annual event and will be hosted on Saturday, June 8 at the main entrance of Health Sciences North. In addition to corporate donations, Eye Level of Sudbury will match every dollar collected at the lemonade stand! To date, Eye Level has raised about $15,000 for NEO Kids. Gamemaking with Scratch (Kids 9-12yrs)
Kids Learning Code is excited to combine the power of play with basic design and programming skills in this hands-on workshop. This experience offers learners the opportunity to create their very own digital games in a super fun environment. Using Scratch, a beginner level programming environment, imagination will come to life in a new and digitally engaging form. Learners will also be introduced to Scratch's amazing online community, sloganed: "Imagine, Program, Share," where they will have the opportunity to upload their game for anyone on the web to download and play! At the end of the workshop, each learner will also have a chance to beta test their game with their peers. Each Gamemaking with Scratch workshop has the same flow, but different activities. Come and create a new game every time!
