Burger Wars in support of NEO Kids Foundation!
During the month of August, we have invited restaurants/cafés in Greater Sudbury to participate in a burger frenzy to battle for the title of ‘Best Burger’ in town, while raising funds for NEO Kids Foundation! How it works- Burger lovers will visit as many of the participating restaurants as possible in August and vote for their favourite burger on our website www.sudburyburgerwars.com For every burger sold at each location, $1 will be donated to NEO Kids Foundation to help keep our children closer to home. NEO Kids Foundation raises funds to purchase vital pieces of equipment, conduct life-changing research, and increase awareness for children’s health needs in Northeastern Ontario. #burgerwars #neokidsfoundation

Elgin Street Craft Beer Festival 2019
-7th annual Craft Beer Festival, vendors from across the province and beyond... Music celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock Elgin Street Craft Beer Fest turns 7!!The 2019 Elgin Street Craft Beer Festival will be held in downtown Sudbury on Saturday, August 10th. As usual, we close down Grey Street and take over the sidewalk along Elgin to the other side of The Laughing Buddha.Once again this year we will close Grey Street on Friday, August 9th in the afternoon and have a street party from 6pm to 11pm with your favourite bands… after the success of 2016’s Pink Floyd night… we are branching out. 2017 saw a continued celebration of 30 years of The Townehouse Tavern with part 2 of our Anniversary Celebrations. Part 1 was June 16/17 with the reunion of Far From Heroes and Budget Motel.THIS YEAR WE CELEBRATE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF WOODSTOCKThroughout August 9th and 10th we will feature artists playing music in the spirit of the 1969 Woodstock concert.We will have artists paying tribute to... and playing music inspired by …Sly and the Family Stone, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Crosby Stills and Nash, Blood Sweat and Tears, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Canned Heat and more!!
