SING Like a Star for Easter Seals Kids
Easter Seals Ontario is proud to announce its first “Sing Like A Star” Gala. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour, a four course dinner, then a live singing competition showcasing local celebrity singers and their professional coaches. These pairings will spend the next few months preparing two songs for the evening competition. True to the element of competition, celebrity judges, along with our guests, will assist in determining which star and coach team will be the STARS of our 1st annual event. They have been hailed by the likes of FADER, Stereogum, MTV and Billboard. Their 2017 debut LP, Mercy Works, is densely arranged, intricately written and performed with an uncommon earnestness. The GREAT BLACK NORTH comedy tour is coming to SUDBURY Some of Canada's most hilarious black comedians are taking to the road to spread love and laughter. Join us at SPACECRAFT BREWERY for a night of hysterical laughter, delicious food and craft beer. ANTHONY ENGELBRECHT has been a rising star on the comedy scene for sometime , his quick wit and constant energy is sure to have you laughing , thinking and always wanting more. Anthony is primarily a storyteller who often reflects on moments in life and pulls you further into his world with his descriptive accounts of an Interesting life . KEVIN CHRISTOPHER, is a Toronto native that has toured across Canada to rave reviews. He was nominated for the prestigious TIM SIMS award in 2002. He has appeared in several movies and television shows but is still a stand up at heart. KRIS BONAPARTE is the founder of Premium Comedy and of this tour. The Montreal Native has a unique laid back delivery and a long repertoire of hilarious, often twisted stories. Sudbury's own TIM KRAFT will be your MC for the evening. Kraft has been performing all over Ontario for yearsa nd is instrumental part of sudbury's comedy scene with his NICKEL CITY COMEDY brand.

Cousin Vinny's Hanmer is celebrating their 10th Anniversary Weekend with Nacho Jam on Friday November 22nd. Tickets are only $5 in advance or $10 at the door. Its going to be packed so don't wait to get your tickets at Cousin Vinny's in Hanmer. Nacho Jam is a cover band that plays party music of all genres. The band covers music from The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Dixie Chicks, Johnny Cash, Lady Gaga, Prince, The Bee Gees, AC/DC, Destiny's Child, CCR, and dance hits from the 50’s all the way to recent party tunes.
