Join Brittany and Dave for Partner Yoga, a wonderful opportunity to deepen the impact and experience of your yoga practice. Human contact in the form of traction, pressure, and leverage is used to support you through the postures. With the help of your partner you are empowered to go deeper with less effort, to explore your balance more than usual, and receive external feedback about body alignment through touch. It helps you relate and communicate not just with your yoga partner, but with others in general. Partner yoga is the physical exercise of compassion, listening, understanding and trust. McEwen Nuit Blanche 2020
Come and experience the magic of Nuit Blanche for its fourth year, where the school of architecture transforms into an exhibition space showcasing art installation from students, staff and the community. There will be live music, drinks, snacks and a new experience to discover around every corner. Bring your friends and family and celebrate the growth of the Sudbury arts community! Doors open at 6:00 pm and at 7:00pm we will be opening with a drum circle! Venez vivre la magie de Nuit Blanche, qui en sera à sa 4e édition cette année, alors que l'École d'architecture se transformera en lieu d'exposition mettant en vitrine des installations artistiques d'étudiants, d'enseignants, du personnel et de la communauté. L'événement inclura aussi de la musique, un bar, des rafraĉhissements et de nouvelles choses à découvrir aux quatre coins de l'École. Eric Clancy – Voices of the Rock
Sudbury Theatre Centre is proud to present the second concert in its Voices of the Rock music series, this time featuring local singer/songwriter Eric Clancy. Entering the Sudbury music scene at the age of 17, Eric was awarded a slot at the 2011 Northern Lights Festival Boréal through the Meltdown, and has continued to use music to tell stories. On February 8, our audience will be soothed by the vocals, guitar, harmonica, and banjo in his folksy-acoustic sound. With refined songwriting and a gentle yet powerful voice, Eric is a staple in the Sudbury music scene, and puts a whimsical twist on a mellow genre. For one night only, Eric Clancy will be taking to the Steve's Encore stage at Sudbury Theatre Centre, starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $20 each, and will be available for purchase at the door.
