Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction in Support of Tanya. Saturday June 9th from 4pm to 8pm. Ticket are $25 and can be bought from Cousin Vinny’s or though a family member. Dinner included a Caesar salad, spaghetti & meatballs, garlic bread, and a dessert. Silent auction will close at 7pm and winners announced. Prizes can be picked up at Cousin Vinny’s until 8pm. Everyone else will be called shortly after the fundraiser. A little about Tanya, Tanya Vansantvoort Portelance is a 31 year old loving mother of 2 young boys ages 3 & 7 and is suffering from terminal brain cancer. A Glioblastoma Multiform. Some of you may recognize this cancer from singer Gord Downie from The Tragically Hip. Many of you have heard about Tanya either on their Go Fund me page or from the cancer centre or the recent interviews with her sister in law Chanelle on CBC radio and other platforms. All proceeds from the dinner & Silent Auction will be going toward Tanya’s medical costs and travel expenses.

Rules of Play for the Catch the Ace Progressive Raffle 1. Each Thursday Night for 52 weeks or until the Ace of Spades is picked. 2. Catch the Ace tickets will be sold from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday night only, at Overtime Bar and Grill in Sudbury, 941 Notre Dame Ave. $5 a ticket 3. The nightly sales and reconciliation of each game will be completed by two (2) bono fide Volunteers of the Banque d’aliments Sudbury Food Bank Community Food Share Warehouse. 4. One ticket will be drawn by a member of the audience at 8:10 p.m. It is not mandatory for the purchaser of the ticket selected at a draw to be in attendance. The raffle draw will be video recorded in order to ensure raffle integrity. 5. The holder of the winning ticket will immediately receive 20% of those nights’ proceeds in a cheque made out in Canadian funds. 6. The holder of the winning ticket will then pick and open one envelope from the envelopes available or the remaining envelopes available. Must be 19 plus to purchase tickets to participate. 7. If the Ace of Spades is picked the additional 30% of the funds collected that evening as well as all accumulated prize funds from previous evenings, will be paid to the winner in cheque format in Canadian funds. 8. In the event the Ace of Spades is not drawn, the licensee representatives on site will immediately destroy the card selected by the winner of the draw. 9. If the Ace of Spades is not picked the remaining 30% from that evening prize pot as well as remaining 50% will be deposited into a Bingo Trust account. 10. Scrap Cancer

Scrap Cancer is back – right on time for spring cleaning. Scrap Cancer is a very “Sudbury” way to donate to cancer care and awareness right here in Northeastern Ontario. Every cent raised by scrap metal and electronic waste during the month of May and June will be donated to the Northern Cancer Foundation to change cancer experiences and outcomes in the North. There are two ways for people to participate: • As an organization – ask employees to bring in scrap metal and/or gather unused material at your organization (BM Metals can provide collection service). • By dropping of your scrap metal and electronic waste to the following locations: o Bianco's Supercenter (year-round) o Ramakko’s (May and June) o Health Sciences North (HSN) Outise the Northeast Cancer Centre (May and June) In just 7 years the Northern Cancer Foundation and all of it’s community partners have raised over $267, 000. 100% of the proceeds have been donated to the Northern Cancer Foundation.
