Rules of Play for the Catch the Ace Progressive Raffle 1. Each Thursday Night for 52 weeks or until the Ace of Spades is picked. 2. Catch the Ace tickets will be sold from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday night only, at Overtime Bar and Grill in Sudbury, 941 Notre Dame Ave. $5 a ticket 3. The nightly sales and reconciliation of each game will be completed by two (2) bono fide Volunteers of the Banque d’aliments Sudbury Food Bank Community Food Share Warehouse. 4. One ticket will be drawn by a member of the audience at 8:10 p.m. It is not mandatory for the purchaser of the ticket selected at a draw to be in attendance. The raffle draw will be video recorded in order to ensure raffle integrity. 5. The holder of the winning ticket will immediately receive 20% of those nights’ proceeds in a cheque made out in Canadian funds. 6. The holder of the winning ticket will then pick and open one envelope from the envelopes available or the remaining envelopes available. Must be 19 plus to purchase tickets to participate. 7. If the Ace of Spades is picked the additional 30% of the funds collected that evening as well as all accumulated prize funds from previous evenings, will be paid to the winner in cheque format in Canadian funds. 8. In the event the Ace of Spades is not drawn, the licensee representatives on site will immediately destroy the card selected by the winner of the draw. 9. Bust a move for community arts! Myths and Mirrors is thrilled to announce the 6th edition of the much-anticipated Dance-A-Thon fundraiser. The event will take place from 3pm to 3am on Saturday May 26th at La Fromagerie (80 Elgin St.). The theme for this year’s event is the ’70s so participants are encouraged to dress up as their favourite ’70s icons. Non-stop music will be curated by amazing local DJs and the night includes great prizes for top pledge earners, best costumes, and more. 4th Annual Cancer Centre Walk/Run/Bike for Hope MOVE - Kivi Park Fitness Series (Event) Sunday, May 27th at Kivi Park 10 am - Registration 11:00 am - Race Start Distances: 1,3km, 5km and 10km The Northern Cancer Foundation (NCF) would like to invite the community to take part in the 4th annual Cancer Centre Walk/Run/Bike for Hope, which will be taking place at Kivi Park on May 27, 2018. Registration will take place at 10:00 am and Walk/Run/Bike to start at 11:00 am. The event will offer four different distances -1km, 3km, 5km and 10 km - with all routes running through scenic trails at Kivi Park. Registration fee is $35, which includes a T-Shirt and lunch. Join us on Sunday, June 3rd as Canadians from coast to coast will walk for Crohn's and Colitis Canada! Register at gutsywalk.ca. Where is the Sudbury Gutsy Walk? The 2018 Sudbury Gutsy Walk will take place at Bell Park (William Bell Gazebo) located along the western shore of Lake Ramsey near the main beach. Where do I park? We encourage car-pooling or the use of public transit. However, if you choose to drive, the closest parking is at the end of Elizabeth St. (off John St.). You can also park in the parking lot at the York St./Paris St. intersection. When you make your way to the park please head to registration which will be set up at William Bell Gazebo. Volunteers wearing yellow vests and Crohn's and Colitis Canada lanyards will be available throughout the park to answer your questions. What time does it start? Registration opens at 10:00 AM; the official walk starts at 11:30 AM. What is the route? The route is approximately 5 KM and runs along Lake Ramsey and Science North. There is a 2.5 KM option. Can I bike or run? Yes, in Sudbury, you can choose to walk, run or bike Is there a registration fee to take part in the Gutsy Walk?
