CP Canada 150 Train in Sudbury

In recognition of Canada’s 150th birthday, CP invites communities to come together and celebrate. Just as the railway connected Canada, the CP Canada 150 Train events will reconnect all generations of Canadians through shared stories of the country’s past; acknowledging heroes and leaders of today; and building optimism for the future. Celebrate with us at our three-hour event featuring: **** HERITAGE TRAIN **** Iconic diesel locomotive CP 1401 (1958) will lead the train, powering more than 10 beautifully restored Royal Canadian Pacific heritage cars (1916-1931). As the train makes its way across the country, it will be the exclusive event backdrop for photographers and admirers alike. Also included in the train is CP’s exclusive retrofitted stage car from which event-goers will be treated to a truly Canadian performance. Restore and Heal **Sold Out**

This event is a beautiful combination of restorative yoga and energy healing. You will be placed into 5-6 comfortable supportive yoga poses with blankets, blocks and bolsters for 7-10 minutes while two energy healers go around to each person assisting the body back into a more balanced state. Energy healing is done through the hands either directly or indirectly onto the body using universal energy to support the person in need. It provides deep relaxation and relief from any kind of discomforts happening in the mental or physical body. It is a time to gently restore and heal the body back to a more balanced state. 2017 Elgin Street Craft Beer Fest/ Smokers reunion

The 5th Annual Elgin Street Craft Beer Festival. New Footprint - Vendors along Elgin Street. Music on Gray Street. Street Concert prequel - Last year we had the Pink Floyd Night do the Entire Wall album on Friday night... this year we have a long awaited reunion of The Smokers. The Laughing Buddha and The Townehouse Tavern. The Buddha has been Sudbury’s home of Craft and Imported beers since its opening in 2005. Since 2008, we have driven the province to buy direct from the many small craft brewers in the province as well as purchased direct from importers and LCBO through our license. Operations manager Paul Loewenberg has handled the administration of the event and looks forward to the expansion of the festival in the future to bring more vendors, more music, more partners and more people. This event is a premium beverage event that is open to all over the age of 19 to sample the finest in Craft and Imported beer available to Ontario. The Townehouse Tavern has long been Sudbury’s venerable home of live music, presenting all styles of live music.
