Hosted by the incredibly talented rockin' lady herself, Kelly Perras, these three evenings are sure to get your toes tapping and your minds thinking about what Sudbury has to offer. Graphic-Con 2017 promises to be the most exciting fan experience in Northern Ontario. This year will continue the tradition of celebrating COMICS, CELEBRITIES, ARTISTS, COSPLAY, GAMING AND SOOOO MUCH MORE! Last year we broke our record with nearly 5000 in attendance and we plan on continuing that growth. Let's show the rest of the world what the north is all about. Graphic-Con is a nonprofit fun and affordable Con for Northern Ontario. Graphic-Con is meant to encourage fan culture, literacy through graphic-novels and comic books and other pop-culture mediums. Our goal is to bring together fans of all ages and types into an affordable Con experience. Whether you appreciate comics, Star Trek, Star Wars, anime, Dr Who, Homestuck, zombies, gaming, steampunk, or something else – we’ve got something for you. We will have vendors selling some of the coolest items you could imagine, panels to discuss ultra nerdy and fun topics, cosplay competition and a few other things that we can't reveal yet.

The Outdoor Blues festival takes place on Durham Street(between Elgin and Larch Streets) and the Municipal Parking Lot on Larch Street. Live music, Festival foods, Merchandise vendors, Children's Activities, Refreshment tent and much more! Admission is a Non-perishable food item or cash donations to the food bank. Teams of 4 raise funds to play the course and then after party at DURHAM SOCIAL complete with food and an auction. Climb for Cancer – ARC

ARC Climbing Yoga Fitness is pleased to be hosting a Climb for Cancer event on June 10th, 2017! The object of the competition is to be the team to climb the highest within the allotted time. The team’s total height is calculated from the number of completed laps plus two times the total of funds raised by all team members. Teams are encouraged to raise funds with the incentive being that every dollar you and your teammates raise gives you two extra feet to help push your team higher than opposing squads. Come out and support a great cause and dedicate your climbing passion for just one day. Help do something great in this epic battle to conquer cancer in our lifetime. While the Climb for Cancer historically benefits the Princess Margaret Foundation, our event will be benefiting the Northern Cancer Foundation! Queer North Film Festival 2017

Queer North Film Festival (QNFF) is currently the only LGBTQ-themed film festival in Northern Ontario. Run by Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op, this 4 day festival features the best in recent queer cinema from around the world. This festival is proudly hosted in venues in downtown Sudbury Ontario, and includes some auxillary social events to round out the festival experience.
