Join us for the opening reception Nov 4th for local painter Frank Danielson. The paintings in the show focus upon the landscape of Northern Ontario. Using a prismatic approach, the artist has sought to reproduce the colour effect of the landscape from that area. All of the paintings in the show feature images one might find while travelling the roads and hiking trails that span this vast province. The exhibit will run until Nov 29th.
4-week series of 2-hour lessons for absolute beginners. Learn the basics of painting with acrylics, and end with painting a still life from a few choices selected by the instructor. Dineen Worth has extensive experience teaching art, including classes at the Art Gallery of Sudbury.
