In honour of our fifth anniversary, we want to acknowledge our great members and staff because we wouldn't be here without you! Join us for a FREE coffee Klatch and bagel buffet on November 16th from 9 - 11:00 am. There will be some delicious coffee and a wide variety of bagels from Salty Dog Bagels. The gym will be at your disposal for the morning, whether you want to climb or join the 9:30 Hot Power Flow class! Thank you for your continuous support!

She’s On Board

She&Her and PoliticsNOW are proud to present...'She's On Board'! She’s On Board is a free, one-day workshop at the Fielding Innovation Space (located at Laurentian University), led by some of the city’s most experienced female leaders to equip women to become more comfortable with governance and public policy, as well as connecting them to established boards in Greater Sudbury. This workshop will accommodate a small class of both new leaders and experienced leaders, and we will offer tangible, inclusive and hands-on training in an accessible manner. Upon completion of the training, the graduates will have the opportunity to be matched with a local board to either join as a director or receive mentorship from a current board member, should no positions be open for fulfillment. Join us Saturday November 16th from 11 am - 3 pm *$10 all access pass that includes climbing, yoga and rentals *ARC Members bring 1 guest for FREE *FREE belayers will take you on the ropes from 11 am - 3 pm *Adult yoga classes: 9:30am Hot Power Flow, 10:45am Hatha, 3:30pm Hot Power Flow * FREE Kids Yoga: 2 pm Little Yogis (3-4yrs), *FREE snacks and beverages on site while they last! We're happy to present Reel Rock 14! Doors open at 6:15 pm Films begin at 7:00 pm Tickets: $20 Buy your tickets by Nov 8th for a chance to win a 1 Month All Access Membership! REEL ROCK at ARC will be a fundraiser for Climb Sudbury, the unofficial outdoor climbing club of Sudbury. Proceeds will go towards the maintenance of existing crags, access and trail work and the establishment of new crags and routes. Snacks and refreshments will also be available for purchase. This event is BYOS - Bring Your Own Seating. We are encouraging everyone to bring pillows, blankets, folding camp chairs (think Canada Day chairs), and especially crash-pads. Please do not bring any chairs that have narrow feet - they will puncture our mats. We will have very limited seating available, but have PLENTY of space on the black flooring for everyone to bring their own seating. Exciting films+food+friends=fun times! Monday Urban Poling in November: Adanac

Adanac Ski Hill

Our Monday Urban Poling walks will take place on trails along the beautiful Ponderosa Wetlands. We will start the walk from the Adanac Ski Chalet, off Beatrice which you can access either via Atlee or Hawthorn Drive. The weather is starting to get quite nippy, so be sure to dress accordingly: wear warmer layers, hats, gloves, and warm sturdy footwear. Sunglasses and protection from the sun are still a good ideas as is a filled-up water bottle. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
