(Re)shaping Your Poem: Tips and suggestions for revising your poems to make them stronger with Poet Laureate Kim Fahner. This one-on-one session will include a brief discussion of approaches to revising poems. Consideration of stanzaic structure, line length, and the importance of using concrete sensory imagery will be addressed. Participants should bring at least one piece, and not more than two. Kim will meet briefly with each poet and suggest ways in which to strengthen at least one of their poems. These pieces may be considered for publication and inclusion in the Sudbury Street Poetry Project.
