Learn more about local artists, their songs/songwriting process and enjoy stories about the evolution of the Sudbury Music Scene from the unique perspective of the campus radio station that has been instrumental to its growth since 1984. “A Night With Local Storytellers” will feature music from local artists: - Mickey O’Brien, - Max Silvertongue - Dusty Rhoads - Brandon Burkley - Pop Machine - dadbOdd as well as many speakers and contributors to Sudbury’s Local Music Scene. “A Night With Local Storytellers” will be held on December 7th at Spacecraft Brewery. In this 6 hr workshop, you will learn the skills and process involved in carving your own design into lino, and printing a series of original holiday cards. If you have already attended one of our previous printmaking workshops, you may want to try your hand at a reduction linocut print, which involves layering your design using a single piece of lino. No experience necessary. Attention Sudbury! We’ve been working on a beautiful Christmas Story and we are so pleased to announce it to you today! Remember when I had my laptop stolen not too long ago and the despair I felt? Well here’s the thing. The only thing I could do was pray; pray to God to help me forgive them. I didn’t want to live with that feeling of hatred and anger. I received overwhelming kindness and support from our community that brought me to tears. So I realized that if I wanted forgiveness in the world, I needed to forgive; if I wanted kindness in the world I first had to be kind to someone; to receive love you need to GIVE Love first! You see!? It’s so simple!! So we are joining hands to give away FREE SOUP to the soup kitchen!! Deke approached me with the idea and we ran with it!!
