A backdrop of reference-filled lyrics grasp the gritty, dry edge of modern life - from Canadian soldiers coming home from the Spanish civil war, to kayaking in the Arctic Circle, through a swath of eclectic shards of culture. The band released a sophomore EP, Dear Sahara, in August 2015 and toured Western Canada in support. Dear Sahara boasts four songs tied together by a letter-writing theme, with art and handwritten liner notes byfrontman Graham Moon. It earned a 5/5 review in Canadian Beats, topped the chart at their hometown CKUW, and reached #35 nationally on EarShot! Tampon Tuesday is a unique way for women in the community to come together for a night of socializing, networking and support for women in crisis. Everyone is encouraged to bring unopened feminine hygiene products or incontinence products, as the price of admission, and these will be donated directly to the Food Bank and the Women’s Centre here in Sudbury.
