Intro to Glass Mosaic with Karen Ylitalo

Explore the art of creating images using glass with local artist, Karen Ylitalo of Studio K Mosaics. In this 4 hr workshop you will learn the skills and process involved in designing and assembling an 8x8 glass Mosaic called “Stack & Slag”. Once you learn this skill, you will want to try applying Mosaic to other indoor and outdoor surfaces! Lasalle Secondary School Craft / Vendor Show

Lasalle Secondary School 1545 Kennedy Street, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada

Lasalle Secondary School invites the community to a Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 10 am to 4 pm. Vendor booths will be set up in the school cafeteria and Lancer Dome (gymnasium). Admission is $2. All proceeds will support the school’s Breakfast Club. The event will feature over 65 vendors offering a variety of products, including holiday and home decor, baked goods, crafts, baby items, cleaning products and much more. Lasalle Cafe will be up and running, selling chili, pizza and baked goods. Santa Claus will make a special appearance for photos with children between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. The cost is $5 for a digital image.

Learn more about local artists, their songs/songwriting process and enjoy stories about the evolution of the Sudbury Music Scene from the unique perspective of the campus radio station that has been instrumental to its growth since 1984. “A Night With Local Storytellers” will feature music from local artists: - Mickey O’Brien, - Max Silvertongue - Dusty Rhoads - Brandon Burkley - Pop Machine - dadbOdd as well as many speakers and contributors to Sudbury’s Local Music Scene. “A Night With Local Storytellers” will be held on December 7th at Spacecraft Brewery.
