5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

430 Westmount

Heart of Ruth Mission is hosting our 5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on January 13th, 2018 in Sudbury! This year will be bigger and better than ever! Mark your calendars friends :) All proceeds will directly support our Transition House project for the kids living at Rainbow House Children's Home. According to the Kenyan Government, when an individual turns 18 they must leave the orphanage. Most of our kids at 18 years of age are not yet completed Form (Kenyan equivalence of Highschool). Heart of Ruth Mission wants to create a safe and secure place for these vulnerable kids to transition into adulthood and eventually independant living. The young adults will live in this home until they are finished education and can stand on their own two feet. The night starts at 4pm at 430 Westmount Ave (in the Westmount Plaza) under the Christian Horizons sign. From there you are welcome to check out some handmade Kenyan items for sale, and talk to team members about our transition home project as well as our Child Sponorship Program. Live entertainment will begin at 5pm (artist to be announced). This dinner is a drop in setting, welcoming guests anytime between 4-8pm. As always, we will have a variety of sauces to choose from (meaty, vegetarian, and vegan!). Your $10 ticket includes a plate full of spaghetti, slice of garlic bread, caesar salad, a drink and an entrance to the door prize! We welcome large groups, if you know of a large group in advance we just ask that you let us know so we can reserve the appropriate table for you! We cannot wait to see you again in January! Thank you again Sudbury for your continued support of our mission. We could never accomplish what we have if it wasn't for...

Vision Board Workshop

Tree of Life North 1375 Regent Street South, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada

Please join Darlene Tindall in this profound and practical Visioning practice. Darlene is a Life Coach, Yoga Teacher and Energy Medicine Practitioner. Her passion is in helping people create a life they are excited to live. Each person that lives a life of purpose and joy is a massive contribution to healing this planet and those in her care. Your joy and fulfillment matter! Let's take a look at where you are today and consider where you'd like to be in 3 months, 6 months a year from now or further. How are your finances? How is your health? Are you enjoying your relationships or your work? Do you take time for self care, fun and recreation? What things are working, what's not? Do you feel stuck or do you just need a plan? Creating a vision board is like creating a road map to help you not only visualize what you would like your life to grow into, but to help you define simple and achievable steps in getting there. Each person will create a vision 'board" in their own style. You want your board to reflect the way you process and translate your dreams into reality. This is about helping you find what works for you based on what is important in your life.
