What: ARC's infamous lead competition! When: February 9th, 7-10pm Cost: $15 If you sign up by January 26th! Prerequisites: To enter the comp you must be able to lead climb! But if you can't, you're more than welcome to come watch! (or get in touch with Tyler (tyler@arcclimbing.ca) to figure out if you can do a lead test or course!) Do I need a partner? Not necessarily, we will have staff belayers on hand to catch you (if necessary) Who will be there: EVERYONE! Climbing Grades: 5.7 and up

Frontin’ the stage and representing the North, Sudbury based Singer/Songwriter Melissa Belanger (Missy Dawn) is back after an extended musical hiatus. Melissa’s music career launched in 1999 when she formed Canada’s Leading Dixie Chick Tribute Band -Dixie Chicklets Rockabilly/Country/Blues Her tone, uncannily similar to Natalie Maine’s, she is often compared to her musical influences Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. Melissa has toured many corners of North America including both Eastern/ Western Coasts of Canada, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Mississippi, and New York headlines and supporting at Festivals, Fairs, Casinos & Clubs. Intro to Paverpol Sculptures

Join us in recreating a Paverpol Sculpture.I will guide you, step-by-step, in a non-intimidating, laid-back atmosphere. Whether or not you think of yourself as a "creative" person, if you would like to be more creative, my intro to paverpol sculptures is designed just for you! No previous art experience is necessary! The Intro workshop is the perfect place to start into the world of Paverpol. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist everyone is welcome. In this class you will learn the basics, starting by building a form from a wire frame with aluminum foil. Fun is what you will have at Little Art Garage whether its time to catch up with friends or solo the choice is yours. In this full day workshop ...laughs and good conversation is what you can expect.I will help you get started through activities designed to increase your creative thinking and bring more joy to your life. I can’t think of a better way to spend my day. We will be creating a sitting piece and one colour you can chose from male, female angels or fairies. The cost is $99 per person and includes instruction as well as all the materials necessary for you to leave with a completed sculpture.
