Look Good Feel Better is a charitable organization helping all women, facing all cancers. Look Good Feel Better offers beauty workshops that give Canadian women the tools and techniques to feel beautiful and vital. Beauté Fashion Show 2019 is sponsored by Platinum Studio, Bronze & Beyond, Eddie Mira Fashion and Coin Atelier, please join us in supporting our local women with cancer! The event will be held Sunday April 28th at The Grand Nightclub located at 28 Elgin St. in Sudbury Ontario from 3pm-6pm. Appetizers and cocktails will be available. The fashion show will showcase Eddie Mira and Coin Atelier's custom clothing lines and with the outstanding support from the community and local businesses, there will be numerous items on silent auction alongside a 'wine pull' table. 100% of proceeds will be donated to the local chapter in Sudbury Ontario. We cannot express how grateful we are for the support and look forward to supporting this charitable organization with you! $25 per ticket. Tickets are available at Platinum Studio located at 65 Elm Street in Sudbury Ontario. Tickets will be available online March 28th (information will be posted shortly).

The Vast Depths by Kelly Barbosa

The Northern Artist Gallery is thrilled to announce that the exhibit for the month of May will be artist Kelly Barbosa. The exhibit will showcase her love for oceanic creatures and can be viewed at Artists on Elgin from May 1-31. The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Saturday May 11th from 1pm to 4pm to meet the artist. Kelly Barbosa has always felt a love for the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it. Kelly’s work is a unique blend of painting and relief sculpture as she carves creatures out of MDF (multi-density fibreboard) and finishes them with acrylic paint. Kelly wants to bring a splash of the ocean to the inland of Northern Ontario using vivid hues and bold stylization. In this display of oceanic creatures, you will experience divergent species represented with vibrant hues, bold lines and distinct texture. Come and explore the vast depths.
