His music & performance harnesses the lyricism and raw energy of hip-hop; but also by the DIY ethics and attitude of punk culture; the poetry and honesty of roots music; and the stylistic elements of countless poets and writers. He rarely does the same thing twice, always delivering a performance that is stirring, provocative, and unique. After performing live and recording one-off tracks for many years, Silvertongue released his self-produced debut, the Beautiful/Strange EP in 2017. He is currently working on his second release, which will include production from revered Toronto MPC master Fresh Kils, as well as a slew of other names yet to be announced. Silvertongue has shared the stage with artists such as Swollen Members, D-Sisive, Ghettosocks, Fresh Kils, Vekked, Trapment and more.
