You're invited to attend Permit Palooza: A step-by-step process to special event planning and permitting. The goal of the event is to help organizers plan their upcoming events, to help clarify the roles of different department staff and external agencies and to share information about resources that are available to event planners. The Event will include booths set-up by several departments and presentations on funding available to event organizers, which will be held every half hour beginning at 4:30 p.m. in room C-12.

National Canadian Film Day 150/ La Journee Du Cinema Canadien 150 will be the world's largest film festival. Wednesday April 19 coast-to-coast Sudbury audiences will come together to enjoy 2 of the year's top Canadian films: JUSTE LA FIN DU MONDE by Xavier Dolan at 5pm and SLEEPING GIANT by Andrew Cividino at 7pm. Both are free screenings with a suggested donation of $10 at the door to cover costs of this event and future Indie film screenings presented by Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op.
