As usual, we close down Grey Street and take over the sidewalk along Elgin to the other side of The Laughing Buddha.Once again this year we will close Grey Street on Friday, August 9th in the afternoon and have a street party from 6pm to 11pm with your favourite bands… after the success of 2016’s Pink Floyd night… we are branching out. 2017 saw a continued celebration of 30 years of The Townehouse Tavern with part 2 of our Anniversary Celebrations. Part 1 was June 16/17 with the reunion of Far From Heroes and Budget Motel.THIS YEAR WE CELEBRATE THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF WOODSTOCKThroughout August 9th and 10th we will feature artists playing music in the spirit of the 1969 Woodstock concert.We will have artists paying tribute to... and playing music inspired by …Sly and the Family Stone, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Crosby Stills and Nash, Blood Sweat and Tears, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Canned Heat and more!!

It's back! Challenge yourself this summer by joining us on Saturday, August 10th, 2019 for the annual Sudbury Camino, and experience Sudbury in a whole new way! The Challenge The challenge is a free event, and offers an authentic and unique Camino-like experience while enabling the discovery of Greater Sudbury's portion of The Great Trail (Trans Canada Trail) and the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. This on-foot journey invites you to challenge yourself and explore our community and the breathtaking natural environments that surround it. In its entirety, the 30 km journey begins at the Kinsmen Sports Complex and finishes at Moonlight Beach. However, this challenge is made to be tailored so that you can create the kind of experience you are looking for with varying start points offering unique experiences! How to Participate: 1. Beginners Guide to Homebrew

Learn how to make your own beer! This class is designed for beginners and will focus on learning how to design and make your own homebrew. With Graham, the Brew Master, you will walk through the entire process of producing an “all grain” 5-gallon batch of beer, from preparing ingredients to bottling the final product. The class will be a mix of lecture and hands on process of making beer. Homebrewers will also have a guided tasting of brews offered at 46North and learn about the techniques used in producing a variety of styles of beers.
