From financial literacy and business basics to political engagement and leadership development, ambiSHEous™ programming equips girls with the practical skills and real-life knowledge they won't learn in school. Our fun and friendly workshops empower girls to explore interests, express identity, and master the building blocks of independence - all while learning how to start and run their own business or social profit enterprise. Sponsored by Ian MacDonald Medicine, in partnership with the Greater Sudbury Public Library, this two-day workshop will be offered FREE OF CHARGE August 8-9. If you know of a girl entering grade 7-9, encourage her to apply today. The girls will need a reference from an adult, such as a teacher or coach, who can support their application. Also included in the train is CP’s exclusive retrofitted stage car from which event-goers will be treated to a truly Canadian performance. You will be placed into 5-6 comfortable supportive yoga poses with blankets, blocks and bolsters for 7-10 minutes while two energy healers go around to each person assisting the body back into a more balanced state. Energy healing is done through the hands either directly or indirectly onto the body using universal energy to support the person in need. It provides deep relaxation and relief from any kind of discomforts happening in the mental or physical body. It is a time to gently restore and heal the body back to a more balanced state.
