As the pilot learns the Prince’s story, he overcomes his suspicions and rediscovers his long-lost sense of wonder and imagination. The Little Prince: Reimagined transports the timeless tale into the 21st century with a fresh, modern English adaptation by Richard Lam (Soulpepper Theatre). 6th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

430 Westmount

Heart of Ruth Mission presents our 6th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on February 9th, 2019. This event will take place at our usual venue, 430 Westmount Ave in Sudbury, Ontario. Underneath the Christian Horizons sign at the top of the hill. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children. As always, tickets include a delicious plate of spaghetti (meaty, and vegetarian), caesar salad, garlic bread, and a drink. Your ticket also includes entrance to our door prize, to be announced. The night will be filled with live entertainment to enjoy with family and friends, a penny sale table with amazing items, and an item filled with Kenyan goods for sale. All proceeds will directly support our transition home project, and education fees for the children living at Rainbow House Children's Home. Come out, invite your friends, and enjoy a night of supporting Heart of Ruth Mission and our projects that directly help Rainbow House Children's Home in Kenya. Comedian Casey Corbin Live

Award Winning Comedian Casey Corbin is returing to Sudbury on Saturday, February 9, 2019 for a dinner and comedy show. Dinner and Show or Show Only tickets are available. Doors open at 6pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm and the show will start at 7:30pm. Approximate run time is 70-90minutes. The last few years have been fantastic for Casey Corbin. With highlights that include performing to a sold out National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Canada opening for Mr. D himself, Gerry Dee. Having a 9 show run at Just For Laughs Toronto festival, JFL 42. This included 4 sold out shows Royal Theatre sharing the stage with friend Rory Scovel and one time with a surprise special guest, Amy Schumer. Working with Norm MacDonald for 6 sold out shows at the Laugh Shop in Calgary. Releasing his 3rd comedy album on iTunes, apple music, amazon and Spotify. As well as competing in the 8th annual Brantford Comedy Festival and winning it’s grand prize of $10,000. If that wasn’t enough, he launched a wrestling/ comedy podcast with Never Sleeps Network that airs weekly on iTunes titled Talk’N Wrestling. Before 2017 Casey Corbin has accomplished plenty. An hour special on the Comedy Network, The Comedy Network Presents: Casey Corbin Comedy Now, Uncensored. Along with that is a half hour special that aired on CTV called Comedy Now. He’s also been seen on CBC’s Halifax Comedyfest and even Comedy At Club 54. (but that was a long time ago) He’s a regular on SiriusXM Canada Laughs and has been heard on CBC one on Laugh Out Loud.
