Sudbury singer-songwriter leads a two-day workshop covering songwriting and recording basics. Kevin will help you take your song from basic idea to finished demo. All ages are welcome! Our Monday Urban Poling walks will take place on trails along the beautiful Ponderosa Wetlands. We will start the walk from the Adanac Ski Chalet, off Beatrice which you can access either via Atlee or Hawthorn Drive. The weather is starting to get quite nippy, so be sure to dress accordingly: wear warmer layers, hats, gloves, and warm sturdy footwear. Sunglasses and protection from the sun are still a good ideas as is a filled-up water bottle. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
The Open Resume Clinic is available to students, staff and alumni throughout the year. We offer 5-10 minute walk-in visits for quick resume and cover letter critiques, on-the-spot job search advice, overview of services, and introductory career decision-making guidance. Walk-ins are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Career Centre in room 2409. No appointment necessary. A paper (hard) copy of any documents (cover letter, resume, etc.) to be reviewed is required.

Join us as the Crohn's and Colitis Sudbury Chapter welcomes Bev Castonguay, BSW, RSW, to talk about mindfulness and how it can have an impact on your overall health. Bev is a social worker with Sudbury District Nurse Practitioner Clinics. Born and raised in Sudbury, she has worked as a practicing social worker for the last 27 years primarily in health care settings. She teaches different stress management techniques, including mindfulness to a variety of people who can benefit from improved mental health and well-being in everyday living. This workshop is limited to 20 participants. Though there is no cost to register, participants must confirm their attendance by contacting Laura at lmalone@crohnsandcolitis.ca.
