For 2019 we are pleased to announce that the Sudbury SwimRun Challenge will be the first ever CANADIAN INDIVIDUAL SWIMRUN CHAMPIONSHIPS, as well as a qualifying event for the IWC World Individual SwimRun Championships. Come on up to Sudbury and SwimRun through 20K of beautiful parkland as Canaqua Sports presents this event for the 3rd year at Kivi Park.
The Sudbury Camino is coming soon, and we thought you might like some help getting ready for your challenge! This walk is the second of a three-part series. Whether you are opting to do the whole 30 km route, or are aiming for the 21 km, 14 km, or the family focused 4 km, this Boot Camp series will help you get limbered up and in the Camino spirit! The Boot Camp Series: 2 walk will follow the 7 km trail at Kivi park. This will be a moderate hike along clearly marked and well-groomed trails with enough elevation to give your legs a bit of an extra work-out with the added bonus of bringing you up to some lookouts with great views of the Sudbury area. Wear sturdy shoes, fill up your water bottle and bring it along, and don't forget to bring your preferred protection against bugs and sun. Our Hike Leader for this event is Allison. The walk will take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. The Sudbury Camino Boot Camp Series is open to everyone: if you aren't planning to do the Camino or haven't decided yet, do come along anyway - you'll enjoy the trails and the company!

Anyone who brings over two milk crates will need a table that Spacecraft Brewery will provide. Send us a message with how much you plan on bringing. Have you ever wondered what it was like to get your letter and make the journey to Hogwarts? This is your chance to have that experience. Your journey begins as soon as you enter the hall, you'll stop at various stations to collect themed items from favourite characters before visiting Mr. Ollivander for your wand and boarding a car on the Hogwarts Express through platform 9 3/4. Once you exit your train car you will be entering into the Great Hall at Hogwarts to take your seat at your house table, watch the sorting ceremony and enjoy a meal under the watchful eye of Professors and Dumbledore himself. Represent your house as you take part in various activities and earn points towards the house cup, this is an event that you don't want to miss and all in support of the Canadian Cancer Society.
