Stories and Songs of Stompin’ Tom is an all-star musical tribute to Canadian icon Stompin’ Tom Connors. In this extraordinary concert event Tom’s music will be performed by his touring band Whiskey Jack along with special guests Russell deCarle (the voice of Prairie Oyster and 6x Juno winner), Cindy Church (Lunch at Allens & Quartette) and The Good Brothers (8x Juno winners). Russell, Cindy, and the Good brothers Bruce, Brian and Larry are country music royalty in Canada. They each have garnered numerous gold and platinum records during their storied careers and are country music hall of fame inductees in Canada and the US. In addition to singing their personal versions of Tom’s songs they will also perform their own hit songs. Whiskey Jack founder and long time Stompin’ Tom friend and band leader Duncan Fremlin is the evening’s musical director and raconteur with wealth of fun and personal stories to share about his time on the road with Tom. During the last few months we’ve been stranded in a space-time-continuum deep within a winter barrier. Bike Sudbury and Sessions Ride Company have discovered the way to exit the void. Sunday, May 12, Spacecraft will host its first ever Bike Tune Up event. Sessions Ride Co will help you make sure your bike is in shape for the summer riding season. Is something clinking? Weird breaks? Loose Doo-dads? Don’t know how to tighten that? Sessions Riding Co will be leading a FREE group clinic. Stick around after for personal tuning and fixing. B.Y.O.B. (bring your own bike, we'll provide the beer). We have bike racks. Old rock coffee and matcha tea are free during the event. Bi-Weekly Minnow Lake Hike

Join Albert on this bi-weekly hike from All Nation's church to Minnow Lake, often with a stop atop the water tank lookout for a chance to spot some majestic trees and curious animals! Gorgeous views are guaranteed - you can see as far as Killarney from the lookout on a clear day. Albert manages to vary the route week-to-week, so you're never doing quite the same walk. Difficulty: advanced Distance: 4-6km Attire: Please dress in accordance to the weather and in layers, with water and snacks on hand. Equipment: Good boots and clothing appropriate to the weather.
