On May 9th, 2019, NORCAT Innovation will be hosting our 6th annual PITCH competition! This event encourages our community, thought leaders, and potential investors to support tech startups being developed right here in the City of Greater Sudbury. As in years past, four startups will take the stage to pitch their venture, in hopes of engaging local angel investors to get them to invest in their company. A panel of “tried and true” investors will ask challenging questions to validate the company and the market opportunity. The goal of PITCH, while entertaining and exciting, is to ultimately get business done. This year finalists will have again have the chance to compete for the Judge’s Choice Award, an unrestricted cash prize, as well as the People’s Choice Award, a private dinner with a group of angel investors, to be voted on by audience members.
