The Martini through the Ages: Myths, Methods, and Mysteries Join us as we explore the lore and legends surrounding the martini. How did this eponymous cocktail evolve through the ages from a vermouth heavy gin-fortified cocktail to James Bond’s Vesper to the fruit-laden “-tini” of the 90's and back again? This cocktail masterclass focuses on the history and development of one of the most misunderstood drinks in history, while providing tips and techniques for scaling your recipe for one person, or an entire dinner party. We will experience the Martini through several iterations and provide you with the knowledge to confidently order or make your own wherever possible.

Every Fall ARC invites anyone who enjoys climbing to test their mettle at the Annual ARC Flash bouldering competition. Participants aged 6-17 can compete in the ‘Junior’ category and choose between the, and men and women 18+ compete. Both age categories have the choice between a “fun league” to climb recreationally in the comp or an ‘Experienced’ category to compete more intently, with opportunity to win prizes. Welcome to Insight Astrology Level 2: Journey of Life & Love! If you have completed my Level 1 course or have studied astrology on your own and feel very comfortable in your knowledge of planets, signs, houses and aspects, you are ready to journey deeper into the more advanced applications of astrology such as forecasting techniques and the astrology of relationships. This material is a synthesis of all the astrological insights I have gleaned over 20 years of study and professional practice. Here is a week-by-week description of the topics we will explore and practice in this 8-week course. Every week, you will receive detailed notes on all the subjects discussed in class as well as a recommended homework assignment. Week 1: Review of some core concepts from Level 1, which includes the 12 letters or principles of the astrological alphabet and the very important Lunar Nodes, which form the karmic backdrop of the current life birthchart. We will analyze the Nodes and the aspects to the Nodes for all participants. Week 1 also includes some astro tidbits such as the higher octave connections between the inner and outer planets, as well as a review of the 8 phases of the Moon.
