LIVEN UP YOUR WINTER WITH BANFF MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL

Maybe you’ve got an adventurous side or maybe you’re more of a wallflower. At the Banff Mountain Film Festival there’s no need to decide! On Friday January 22nd join Laurentian University’s Outdoor Adventure Leadership Program as they host the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, a one day only event featuring the best in adventure documentaries. Coming off the heels of the 9 day Banff Mountain Film Festival earlier this fall the World Tour brings stories of profound journeys, unexpected adventures and ground-breaking expeditions told by renowned authors, photographers, adventurers and filmmakers from around the globe to fans in over 40 countries.  We got all the information on the fantastic lineup of films to be shown, why not take a walk on the wild side?

Four men and 16 wild mustangs set off on a 5000km journey across America West, from Mexico to Canada. In the spirit of true adventure, whiskey is drunk, tempers fly, tragedy strikes, and the bonds of friendship hold fast, But can the journey help save a phlight of wild horses roaming on public lands? Only time will tell.
